My 25.5 coupe project

looks sweet joe

Thanks:thumbsup: I'm off to the garage to try and get a little more done today. The wife had minor surgery Friday morning, so this weekend has kinda' been on hold. But, all is well and she is home now!

Thanks, been doing more work this week. I finished welding shut the rest of the holes in the interior sheetmetal- shifter, park brake, fresh air intake in cowl, and trans wiring grommet hole. Masked off the body and sprayed the firewall/floor, then painted the cage with the silver "hammered" finish. Ready to start interior assembly soon.

Do you mean the rectangular hoop? I used 3/8" chome moly tuning and fabbed that up to hold an alluminum panel for the fuses/relays, just behind the glove box area. I may trim out the glove box door from the dash so the panel is exposed, and maybe hold the removed portion back onto the dash with a couple dzus tabs so it looks more finished(maybe just leave it off...)

No. I knew that was for electronics.

Looks like in the one pic where the floor meets the tunnel it has been te worked for clearance maybe??

I am looking at the pic on my phone maybe it is glare.

I just returned your pm

Ah. Nothing I did there, but the car had a few small "clearances" from it's past life in the trans/firewall area, maybe that's what it is from. I never noticed that one honestly LOL.

Thanks! Not too much progress this week with X-mas. I did install my new old stock Carlite quarter windows and drip rail mouldings, and recovered an old grey headliner in the correct black material, filling in the holes for the dome light and visors that I won't be needing. Thanks to hangemhigh for the hookup on these parts, I'll be returning the favor soon! I also threw in a shot of the motor with the Barnes 5 stage dry sump pump all mocked up. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!!!
