St. Clair and Sanilac County's

That nice 8 came from Sanilac, Mine and my son's came from St. Clair

Very nice I was not able to go this year but next year my son can hunt so I need to make time to go he is really looking forward to it

Shoulda let that baby grow a year or 5! Damn! Was the umbilical cord still hanging?

My uncle shot a fawn a few years back and I asked him if he had to wipe the milk off it's mouth. We still ride him pretty good to this day. I wish I could shot yearlings since they're good eaters but just can't do it.

I went out today what a shitty day to hunt. I sat until 4pm and the rain and wind were fucking unreal. I texted my brother and told him to be watching cause i was gonna walk in. I started to walk in really slow stopping every few steps glassing with my binocs. I followed the edge of a creek for about and 1/8 of a mile it took me almost an hour i walked really slow. All of a sudden it started raining like a mofo and the wind picked up. I stopped by a big tree to wipe the rain from my 760 pump remington 30-06. Just then i saw a deer walking 25 yards away. It had its head down and i could tell by the body it was a buck. I looked through my scope but it was fogged up. The deer stopped and i could see the horns i thought it was an 8 point. I used my iron sights and dropped him right in his tracks. I walked over and realized it was a 4 point with a 12" spread. This deer has a thick rack for a 4 point. Its about a 3.5 year old deer big body nice horns.

As i walked to the buck i crawled under a pine tree to try and text my brother to get the tractor. Just then the very tree i was using to lean on when i shot the deer fell over!! This was an awesome hunt.

That was after she was gutted. It was the best shot of the five I'd seen all weekend. I saw two bucks on the way to the field, but didn't see anyone taking any. My father and I hunted in Hudson.

had a 80 pound doe walk up about 5 feet from me then it noticed i was calling it in. i was gonna grab it and get a picture but it ran off. and i got a shot at a buck (couldn't see how many points) about 400 yards out. missed. not the greatest weekend hunting in Mio.

My BIL lives in Kentucky and shot this one yesterday, it scored unofficially 175 and change. Either way bigger than anything I've ever come across!

Huge bucks in kentucky and ohio. Antler restrictions and tough hunting terrain lets them get big like that.

Thats a very nice buck Rick, I would shit myself (after I shot him) if he walked out in front of me

It was funny, he didn't realize how big it was until people started telling him it was a monster. I have friends that go to Kansas and Iowa to shot bucks like that and have come back empty plenty of times. I have two cousins that hunt private land in the thumb and have shot nice bucks (130's-mid 140's) and they're real impressive in person I can't wait to see this on in person. :)

Anyone who's hunted a day in their life knows that thing is a pig. Come on man!
