My 25.5 coupe project

Awesome Joe! I wanna come out and shoot some shots of it for sure! Lemme know when you take her on her maiden voyage and I'll tag along with the camera and pit bitch for the day.

Here's a quick startup video, lemme see if I got this right... Sorry for the crappy audio, and nevermind the unfinished dash(I'm working on it today instead of doing real work LOL).

Badass...

I finished the dash work today, just need to wire in the electrical connector to unplug to dash harness. The dash has 2 dzus on each side, and 1 in the top center, and is surprisingly rigid. The "cluster" holds the data recorder display, the tach, and a red LED for low oil pressure warning. There is also a shift light in the center controlled by the RPM activated switch in the MSD. I trimmed out the glove box area from the dash to access the chips in the MSD easily, and added a new pony emblem from Late Model Resto to help complete the look. The dash is painted flat black to match the factory texture and color better.

Thanks. I used basic Krylon flat black rattle can stuff, it matches interior colors nicely. The semi gloss is just too shiney looking.

I finally made it out to Milan Sunday to make a few test hits, just running on motor to check stuff out. Ran a couple full passes, both 1.31 60', 9.25 @ 146 mph. Leaves nice, drives straight, and stops good. D/A was over 2600 ft, so the air was not all that great. I'll get the nitrous set up soon, and get after the tune up. I have another top end for the motor to try, a few cams and convertors, and gears to play with yet. I'm sure this is a solid 8 second combo on motor, but I really want to play around in Milan's TT5/Limited Street yet this year on the bottle so it most likely will not stay naturally aspirated for long.

I'm gonna call this project thread a wrap, but we all know the project never ends LOL. Thanks to my wife for putting up with all this, thanks Dave/Team Z for putting up with me, Lang transmission for the help, Kevin at Ypsi Design and Fab, Jeff at JR Racecraft, and my bud Bryan for the awesome paint work.

See you at the track!
