My 25.5 coupe project

Thanks for the help at the track yesterday Pwraddr and Hangemhigh!! Glad you guys could make it out for the day. Damn it was hot, but we started getting a few things figured out.

It went well, I just entered no-box to get in some seat time and test. I was making motor only runs just to work on the launch and shock settings. Temp was close to 90 degrees with a D/A of about 3000 feet. Ran 1.29 60', a string of runs between 9.21 and 9.24 at 147 mph. Went out second round(ran dead on a 9.24 dial, but was sleeping LOL), but I'd had enough by then anyway... I want to swap out the heads and try again in better conditions, but it's great to be back out regardless.
 
for sure had a good time yesterday!!!....awesome pic, but the car actually was at least a few inches higher ........like keith said, on rails. just need something other than "mine shaft" air to dip down to some 0's or better.
 
Prolly not, unless I'm just doing some testing. As much as I enjoy reading all the shit talking and call outs, it just ain't me. The goal is the Saturday Shootout Series in TT5 or OLS. It would be more competitive in the 1/8 mile against the turbo cars I'm sure, but I love 1/4 mile racing.
