My 25.5 coupe project

Thanks for the compliments! Work has been insane this week, but I have plans for major progress this weekend LOL... Keith, just leave the title in the car when you drop it off, it'll get done eventually!

Ok. No problem. Youncan hold the title until it is done. I'm in no hurry :)

You have a sweet ride and know that you have made me jealous among others I hope that all the hard work and the endless amount of money goes as good as it looks !!! Great job and GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!

The fuel cell vent goes to a -8an bulkhead through the floor, with a small K&N crankcase vent filter attached under the car.

Thanks wasn't sure how I should run that. Had chiseled performance make me a custom 9gal fuel cell so I should start getting it mounted soon as it gets here. Depending on how money is the next few months :D Thanks for the info if you get any closer pictures of the setup it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks again guys! I took a few pictures of the fuel cell vent as requested. The cell has a roll over check valve built in so I just ran the vent to a bulkhead fitting, nothing too special.

Sorry guys, my Dan's Tavern burger and brew is slowing me down tonight LOL... I actually drove to car out of the garage to wax it up, stand on the trans brake, and snap a few pics(not in that order). The shop grunge on the car was killing me and I had to clean it up a bit. It will only look this new once, it still has stickers on the slicks! Getting REAL close now, maybe I'll be making some motor passes soon. Oh, sorry for the YellowBullet plate, where can I get a Motown sticker for the window???

Thanks, it's getting there! I still need to finish up some interior stuff, and maybe add the fogger in a few months. I need to get some seat time, it's been too long!

Joe, car really looks great! Couple of questions; what size cable did you run from battery to starter, and on your fuel cell, did you run 2 # 8's to a filter then to the pump.

Thanks, Ed.

Thank you! The battery cables are 1 gauge from the trunk up to the starter solenoid on the electronics panel behind the dash, then a 6 gauge cable is ran forward to the starter motor. A heavy braided ground strap ties the engine to the chassis.

The fuel cell had 2 -8 outlets, but I cut one fitting off and tapped the bung to 1/2" npt(there is just enough material in the welded bung) so I could install a -12an fitting to run a hose to the filter. -10an is run from the pump up to the engine bay.

Where did you get the cable from?

The 1 gauge and the engine ground strap come in the Summit battery relocation kit. The 6 gauge is from a local hardware store, along with the terminal lugs. This thing cranks like crazy with 2 16 volt batteries!

I bet it does... That's what I will be doing... 2 16volt batteries... Video... :icon_bigg

I should add that you can buy just the cable kit from Summit, without the cheezy battery tray and POS hold down bracket LOL. I still need to figure out this video thing...
