What kind of long term projects are you not working on....?

'66 mustang. the first 5 years in a body shop. (body shop prison) Then 2 months in a different body shop fixing all the stuff the first one fucked up.
Hopefully its on the road by dream cruise. May not be finished, but it'll be moving under its own power and hopefully stopping

Too hot to finish drywalling the garage.

Been kicking my 48's ass. My 60 Cadillac is motivating me to get this done. Still gotta weld some gussets on the front 4 link mounts, and brace the upper coil over mounts, weld the panhard bar tabs solid..... Anyway, I've been on it.

And yes, I made an axle jig for when I welded it up.

Very nice!!

Last week my wife said...."why do you have my cookie sheet".... I had my new flexalite sitting on it... I couldn't justify $80 through jegs...ended up not using one at all!

I've been rolling around in the 69 Mustang and 51 F1 without a shroud. The fans are 16" Spal 2500 cfms. They keep it cool but traffic is a battle.

That's what I bought.. 16" Flexalite Cyclone 2500cfm, 17amps. I have a big 6 banger, hopefully it's enough.

I just put the new shroud on the Mustang. Now I just need to test it.

I also bought and installed a bunch of new wiper blades (Trico classic fit steel) The F1 doesn't work but it looks complete. Haha

Spent my morning testing wiring for my parking lamp circuit on the 1969 Mustang. Oddly enough, the American Autowire harness and factory colors don't match up. The AAW harness has blue and brown wiring that goes to each parking lamp filament in the front. The stock replacement lights have a 3 wire trailer style plug (blue brown and black).

Apparently, the brown is a supply line to a filament on the AAW side but brown is a ground wire on the lamp side.

So:
blue goes to blue
brown goes to black
ground is brown on the lamp side

Moral of the story, the colors don't always match up....

I went to start the Mustang the other day and it was a no crank-no start. Measured battery voltage and it was 0.015Vdc....... I guess I left my interior lights on for 2 weeks. Its taking a long time to recharge the red top.... hope it's ok.
