What kind of long term projects are you not working on....?

Coming up on 2 years since I even set eyes on this one.
79 Caprice on a 94 Caprice frame, LS swapped. Blew motor #2 in fall of 2013, put it in storage Memorial Day 2014, have not been to see it since. I actually don't remember exactly where it's at, I'll have to ask my coworker for directions to his place.

Had a little scuf up on my Ultra a few years back, it's repair is on the back burner. I just pulled it from remote storage a few weeks ago. I ran some of the crap old gas out, gave it a decent bath last Sat, and tucked it away on the trickle charger...

The main project.... "main".. is a VR6 swap on an 86 VW Cabriolet. This has been crawling along, I have not spent more than a few hours on this one in almost 10 months. I hope to pick up the pace on this very soon.

Aside from that, running the side business and building/rebuilding some motors take up the bulk of the shop time. Currently, I have a LT1 381ci motor in for a re-ring and crank polish. This is a motor I did a full build on 5-6 years ago, and a leaky injector scuffed up a few bores. Luckily, all it's needed was a re-ring, quick ball hone, and crank polish. I'm starting in on the honing/ring-filing tonight hopefully.

My landscaping. Need to paint the porch and fix a bunch of stuff in the back yard. Just takes money and time...and I usually end up spending both of those on more fun things.

Ok, so here is mine. Bought this 13 years ago as a basket case. After I got it, I found the cancer ended up being a lot worse than originally thought and that really slowed its progress down. Worked on it good for a while. Then lost interest, and just in the last year or so I've been back on it. The plan now is to get enough done where I can put an ORV on it and trail ride it, and then winter projects after that to finish it up.

No pics, but my wife has an old Galaxie that has been sitting since she graduated college

Her plans were always to have it done, but I'd be amazed if she ever drove it out from her dad's shop. It'd be cool to make it a project, but she's shown pretty much zero actual interest in the past 10 years about it, so I'm not exactly eager to bother. Maybe in 14 years when he gets his license, our son will become a car guy and it'll finally have a purpose :D

You need to start a build thread. This has been a bucket list project for some time.

I wanna see how this comes out
You may wind up with my Mercury in your garage

Well, I changed my original plan on what I was going to do to the roof after I bought my 70 Imperial back. I was going to pattern it out, but now I'm just going to candy it root beer brown. The Imperial has a crazy roof, & I'm going to try & sell the wagon. I figured a patterned out flaked roof might narrow an already narrow buying audience.
