so i have my gauge port after my turbo oil feed (no restriction on my feed line) on a "T". could my turbo feed be taking all or most of my pressure since it has no restrictor before it reaches the gauge port to read inside the car? engine runs good, no knocks or ticks even when i let it idle for 5-10 minutes and rev it up but my pressure will be almost zero/zero on the gauge inside, no matter when you rev it or not, cold and warm do not affect readings either. i pull the gauge port line and turn the engine over with the starter and oil pumps out alot too.
sometimes ive seen the gauge read 20 psi also.
possible bad gauge? its mechanical.
any ideas? i know i can get another gauge and try it or remove my oil feed from the turbo and try it, but im just looking to see if my thery could be valid or if anyone has any other ideas?
new engine, .0020 clearance on the bearings, no ticks at all.
