Turbo Fox build..

If it gets in the 30s this weekend I might drop it in. Only problem is getting it out of the house now lol. Any volunteers?

I'm pretty sure it's not going to fit through the doorway with the headers and crossover on it. Even then you're gonna have fun with it

Oh yeah forgot that. If you do go that route PRW makes a flex that fits both gm and Ford patterns. Its only $100 vs the JW one that's is over 200

Had some fun today. It was rather challenging navigating this motor through the house down into the garage by myself. But I persevered with no accidents

Planning the escape route

I'm pretty happy, the motor fit with the HPM drop mounts. One less thing I have to buy.

Up next will be getting the turbo and mocking up the rest of the hotside. I'm going to be modifying the crossover to place the turbo on the inside of the framerail. I've been collecting stainless tubing for a couple years now so I should have plenty to accomplish what I want.

Ordered my Engine management today. Super excited to tune with this setup. I really like the software compared to other EFI units.

mann....does this come with everything to just rip all the wiring except chassis wiring out and run it? fuel pump signal wire and all that?

Basically yes. If you want to utilize the Holley Boost control you need to buy a couple solenoids, a 3 bar MAP if running boost. The kit comes with a 1 bar for N/A motors. I'm also going to be getting a couple 0-100psi transducers to log my oil and fuel pressure. I've never installed a standalone, so as far as removing the Engine harness and installing a new one like what comes with the Holley im not sure what else wont work. I know the factory tach wont work, but not sure of anything else. Seems like its a dark area because everyone I've asked hasn't given me a definitive answer.

550-606 is the part number for the Ford specific MPFI ECU and harness kit. Its the same main harness as the Univeral MPFI kit 550-604 but comes with the Ford specific injector harness. If you want to retain the TFI dizzy you also need an Ignition adaptor which Holley sells. I'm going to start with the TFI and see what kind of limitations it will have. I dont want to mess with a cam signal, crank trigger just yet.
