What does it matter if it was a glide or a 400? Seems to me his old shit with one system went faster than your twin turbo!!!
ouch!!!!

So there's no difference between a th400 and a glide? I can think of one obvious one but I'll let you work on it. Maybe even do some simple multiplication and get back with me.What does it matter if it was a glide or a 400?
Actually it didn't go faster. I went 161 as well. But if you mean quicker, he did go one tenth quicker with bigger tires, wheelie bars, lighter car, better motor, etc. That's not saying very much to go 1 tenth faster with all those things working for you does it? How about when you throw in the fact that my passes were with a stock crank/block/head/cube ls1 on et streets at 3450 lbs while getting out of the throttle four times during the pass and riding the rev limiter the last second of it. Do you want to continue?baldy said:Seems to me his old shit with one system went faster than your twin turbo!!!
My buddy's top sportsman car goes 7.8's on the motor with no power-adders. Does that mean wheelerz car and every other car with an adder on here is a piece of junk because it went a second slower with an adder? Or maybe the details of the combo do play a little part in the equation like he runs at 2600 lbs, has 16 inch wide tires, 4-link, etc. You are not making very much sense. The point is captain keyboard you had two power adders to one and his car was still faster!!!! Now go figure that one out....
Tried that last year and low and behold monte was very quiet. Actually he was busy digesting all the crow he had to eat. Here's an idea.................get the cars done and line 'em up!!!:chairfall

So you bring up wheelerz car as an example and I bring another car as an example but then you say this? lol beautiful! There you go with your buddys car shit again, you just dont get it.. so nevermind.

twin turbos isn't two power adders.
that would be twin turbo's and N20

lol that's an interesting opinion. Who knew a guy with pretty much a super street car would be bragging to a guy with an actual street car with a bunch of stock junk and some boost and then tell him he had more money into his setup.my car would have went faster with a 400. i dont know about better parts, you had 2 turbos, big stuff 3, data loggers, and so on. i had a 395, one carb, one foger, old school highports on a 28x10 tire at 3100 pounds. you had way more money in your car then mine. so yep i want you to continue. dont get me into this, my car was way faster then yours with way less in my opinion. Ls1 matt went almost as fast with stock cylinder heads, you had 2 fuckin turbos. good for you that you went 161, most anything with 2 turbos on it should
Sorry but I'd have to side with the organizations over some dude on the internet who can't hang with turbo cars so he has to come up with excuses as to why not.maybe not in a class, but if you look at a car that has two turbos feeding an engine, that is 2 power adders.
Can't say I am not flattered by the comparison though. If it's so easy to go fast with turbos, why do you stick with nitrous?

LS1matt went 15+ mph slower with LS6 style heads while I ran 241 castings aka actual heads that came on an fbody. Not knocking that at all but you are trying to say he went almost as fast which just isn't true. And if it were true, he ALMOST went as fast as you then too. Doh!
were talking a huge difference in cost between a nitrous and turbo car......
ok then well bring dominic into this. stock 4.6 4v shit with a single turbo, 3400lbs, aod, 8.50s at 161mph...
