thats also my point. 281 cubes, one turbo, way faster then homers 350 inch and 2 turbos. Im sure some willl think im wrong, but my old car was faster with less in my opinion. The guy who owns my old motor went 8.40 at 3200 on radials with both systems. thats a closer comparison because my car was a ladder bar, but was still 28x10 tire

your car had 7 passes on it, i remember homos car making many passes and then it went fast once or twice and blew up... this is why i street race, the man who finishes first wins, no clocks to argue or compare too..

Sorry but I'd have to side with the organizations over some dude on the internet who can't hang with turbo cars so he has to come up with excuses as to why not.

I'll be back to argue some more in a few hours.

cant hang with turbo cars? Build another one, and i will wear your ass out with a nitrous car, just like i would of back in the day. Im not saying that you had two power adders, you are not getting my point, my point is you had TWO of them pushing air in your motor, so it didnt impress me that much. Raj had one turbo, smaller motor, smaller camshaft out of the box heads, and still went almost as fast as you. I know two turbos are not two power adders just was making a point.

i agree with you. Turbos are cool as hell. jonnyquicks buddy dom, that car is bad. goes mid 8s and gets driven on the highway. But no one wants to admit, the cost a lot. All of this stupid hobby cost a lot, but turbos are cool, no question.
 
I'm not going to take sides on this one at all, but I will say that you can't call the stock LSX stuff junk compared to a standard inline valve style head small block ford.

Also, you can say that Wheeler's car was better and you'd be right, but for sure Sean's car had way more money in to it. That turbo kit alone cost what I would bet the Mustang had in the motor. I know what that kit cost, and between that, the motor, the EFI, and everything to make it work, it had to be a way more expensive car than the Mustang.

The Mustang was a better car though, lighter and ladder bars. Same tires though.

They cost more for sure. You can save money on the motor in places though, because the motor doesn't have to be that good to make power.

I have 20+ 9.0x or better timeslips so it didn't exactly go fast once and then blow up. Although I only seem to recall hearing wheelerz car go 8.6's once too so I don't see where you're going. I can't imagine why a stock ls1 blew up revving it to 8500 and making 1000+ hp on parts designed to make 300.

Street racing sub 10-second cars is just retarded anyways. Sorry that you don't value yourself and the people around you enough to figure that out.

I am building another and I will take a lane when it's done. You forget this was the first car I ever built and it ran okay for what it was and I got out of the whole setup very well $$$ wise.

And doesn't Dom work for Livernois or something? Pretty sure those guys know just a little bit more than me. Same story with Raj he's been going fast for tons of years yet you are comparing my first effort to their latest? But you don't even want to compare your results to other people with similar combos and it's pretty obvious why.

You don't see the point. I am a no-nothing hack but I will run with you any day of the week and you're the self-proclaimed expert. Crazy how that works! You guys can pile on as many of your buddies as you want but it won't change the facts one bit.

How much of this car did you yourself actually build anyway? You bought a TT kit that was already fabbed, had god knows how many people work on it, but somehow always make it sound like you took some stock 200,000 mile LS1 and made it run 8's.
Sure is nice to find something entertaining to read on a boring Sunday night!

thats it, joes car went 8.60s after the 7th pass...and it was sold after that... you had alot of passes on your car to get it to run right with alot of tuners making it run right...and as soon as it got right it blew up, you had to put it on kill to run a number....imagine if he had as many passes on his car tomake it right as you did on yours, that car would have been going 7s by now im sure...

for real anybody could go fast if they buy a proven combo... why dont you just go and buy billy gliddens shit, to me that kinda takes the fun outta it...i want to make my shit go fast not some shit that i bought from another ride..

no he got it, but i made alot of money with my shit and im still here typing away, so i guess its not as dangerous as some people think... cause i have never hurt anybody or got hurt myself...
