Street racing is the B.S. end all.. None of this bench racing E.T and dyno #'s. I've seen many of fast race cars get eat alive on the street.. Same with MPH.. MPH doesn't mean shit if your not the first to the stripe!

And your math is pretty good. Harlan's best pass with W's, wheelie bars, less weight, glide, and 10 more lbs of boost was 8.29 at 167 at the fastest track in the country in November. His fastest pass at Stanton in October was I believe in the 8.50's at around 163-164 if you want to compare similar track conditions at least. Still doesn't account for the 10 lbs of boost difference (they also popped the headgaskets while making that pass), dry sump, better heads, and about 20 other factors. Hell we went the 8.78 on a terrible pass with a stellar 1.36 60 ft on 21 lbs of boost. They ran up to 30 lbs with a lot better hardware than me and that's not taking anything away from those guys. They know their stuff for sure and it's easy to see why they went faster with the same turbo kit. The only thing that was the same was the turbo kit which believe it or not, is just some pipe welded together and turbos hung on the end.

Again here's johnquick talking out of his ass. The car was running less boost when it went the 8.70 than it was when it was going 9.0's but the mph was always 155+. If you want you can talk to Don Bailey and ask him how 'on kill' the tune was and he will laugh at you. 18 degrees of timing on c16 and high 10:1 afr is not exactly on kill. We just had too many junk parts and after over 100 passes, something was going to break. It actually looks like it might have been the oil pump that failed and Val actually had some similar results (high rpm failure) with the same oil pump and wound up spinning a bearing. You might break stuff too if you ever made any real power but you should stick to the street that's where the slower guys are.

Wow dude, that was about the funniest thing I have ever heard. You must have failed physics. You weigh what, like 130 lbs? Maybe with wet clothes? You must be one of those "tough guys" that thinks because he can fight, he can take someone down. You couldn't put enough force behind you to do much other than knock over a damn refrigerator box. I grew up with a tough guy like you. He could move fast, but he never could manage to knock anyone down, just a bunch of bruises.

For everyone else, nice using the two turbos thing as an excuse. Turbos change many things. Using one kit vs two kits, one turbo vs turbo... it doesn't matter. It's all the same. You can put more turbo on a car than the motor can use just as easily as you can put more nitrous than a motor can use too. Yeah, homer went the expensive route, who cares, he tried something different. Let's compare notes if Sean had as much experience with his car as anyone else. I honestly can't think of anyone on this board that ran their mouth *AND* backed it up with so little track time. I also can't think of anyone that put up with as much shit with other people fucking him over and still managed to get it done.

Bottom line is, Sean talked shit, built a car on a college kid budget, dealt with one company that ripped him off for parts, dealt with a reputable tuner that couldn't track down a problem, had to go to Meaney/Bailey to get it done right, and showed up at the track trying over and over. Where were the shit talkers? The car was running, none of you stepped up. Now that it isn't running, you're ripping on him. Yeah, real cool, I like to beat up 4th graders with their backs turned too.

There's not many people I think I could beat up being 5'10 165 (thanks trigger lol), but you are definitely one of the few!
