Someone's a little defensive. Tell me where I was wrong in what I said? You can talk about UM all you want, but the fact is that Michigan is 9-3 and should be able to take care of Florida in the bowl game. That's something no Spartan would have predicted or even conceded as a possibility this year. Spartan fans acting like the luck they got was because of great play calling and toughness is laughable at best. They lost a crap game and won several crap games they shouldn't have. They are the new Notre Dame getting the luckiest plays to keep them alive. That's fine because it gets them wins. Now they have to see how that stacks up against the rest of the league. I doubt MSU will win off of a fluke punt or a fluke ball that lands on a players back in these last 2 games. Personally if Bama comes out and plays how they are capable of playing, this game won't be close. Both OSU and MSU played like FSU last year but OSU at least was able to show their true talent in one game. I'm laughing my ass off that OSU has one loss and is pretty much getting shit on by the selection committee and I'll laugh my ass off if Bama beats MSU.
It seems to me that you are more defensive than about anyone else in this thread.
To point out where you were wrong about the Iowa game - yes it was boring up front but did you happen to notice that MSU put together a 22-play, 82-yard drive at the end of the game where they beat Iowa? It's laughable that you point to that last play as luck that got them the win - the true freshman ground out the last yard for the win. Seems more like you are still butt hurt over the UM loss in the final seconds and want to group these wins together to make yourself feel better. Don't forget that UM made a terrible call with that last play against MSU - that loss was very avoidable by your team.
And speaking of luck - did you realize that MSU is 36-4 for the past 3 seasons with 2 big ten championships? They are a legit team right now and it only makes you appear as sour grapes when you keep putting them down when the truth is that they are having another great season. Hell, I didn't even go to MSU (wife and family did) and we all cheer for UM when they aren't playing MSU. Everyone knows UM will get their turn soon enough with your new messiah, if he sticks around long enough...
What an awesome game down in Indy!! There was such a disparity in the crowd. Not sure if it was because Iowa had an extra week to plan for the trip or because this was the biggest thing to happen in Iowa sports for quite some time. Either way, glad MSU found a way to win. Time to turn the attention to Bama and Henry.

Wow. Looks like u had some solid seats.
I'm going with that Spartans can't fill their own stadium so likely they don't travel well.
Yeah, and that's how they filled 60-70% of the Rose Bowl stadium when they played Stanford.I'm going with that Spartans can't fill their own stadium so likely they don't travel well.
I am not sure how much clearer I can be in my statements. MSU won. That's the end result. The denial that they have been lucky is just homers trying to feel good about themselves and the luck that their team has had. I'm not sour about the Michigan loss. It happened and any non-biased person realizes that it was likely the luckiest and flukiest way a game could have ended. They got lucky that OSU decided to mail it in and almost lost still. Otherwise that game would have been 42 to 14. Again, any non-biased person realizes that. They got unlucky in the Nebraska game. The rule is very ambiguous and left room for the call that was made. MSU should have never been in that situation to begin with.
The problem I have with MSU fans is the massive inferiority complex they have. They haven't been beat by anyone this year, yet there's a conspiracy that Delaney wants to see MSU lose and wants UM and OSU in the playoff picture. After the Nebraska loss they were calling to leave the B1G and go play in the ACC. There isn't a single call against them that isn't wrong or a single big play that happens against them that isn't someone not getting called on a penalty. I realize all teams have homer fans who are like this, but it permeates the entire fan base for MSU. Like you said, 36-4 in the last 3 seasons yet, you'd think everyone was picking on them.
Last year they were legitimate. This year they got lucky. Stating the obvious and facts isn't sour grapes. It's reality. Denial as such is why their fans get so bent out of shape about the little brother syndrome they have.
Yeah, and that's how they filled 60-70% of the Rose Bowl stadium when they played Stanford.
Serious question: did you borrow wide winger's tin foil hat, or are you just that ignorant and biased?
Stalker is sooooo salty it's hilarious!!
I can at least credit Swift that no matter what happens he'll be here for his team.
Quoted......
Glad for once that I'm not involved in this fracas.....
Biased?
Even your own coach has complained about the empty seats in the stadium. Number 2 team in the nation this year on homecoming and the stadium is half empty by halftime. Before halftime, the student section didn't even fill to capacity. A 2012 report showed the most loyal fanbase. UM was number 1. OSU number 2. MSU number 32. The only B1G team worse than MSU was Minnesota. It's not even this year that there have been noticeable problems. They've had it in the news the last few years. Why do you think UM went to the Sugar Bowl in 2011? Their record was good, but it wasn't as good as MSU's, so why did MSU get overlooked? Because the committee knows Michigan fans travel well. These are not facts that are disputable unless you're a Spartan fan. Then again, Spartan fans are the same people who think the B1G is out to get them and they need to leave for the ACC. I guess you can't compete with that level of stupid.
