- U of M/Minnesota - you narrowly won that game simply because the interim coach taking over for Kill didn't know how to manage a clock properly. Had he ran it out, you lose.
- U of M/Indiana - Took that game to 2OT to beat them. You nearly lost to a team that squeaked into a bowl game. Congrats.

On the other hand, how do you explain the stats against OSU? They dominated both sides of the ball, and kept OSU to 5 first downs all game. Had MSU not turned over the ball, the result would most likely have been 21-7 or 28-0.

Keep blabbing on about conspiracy against MSU and filling the stands. All are moot points coming from a pissy U of M fan. Who gives a fuck if they fill stands or not? At the MSU/PSU game, the stands were 95% full until they started pulling away. The student section filled up, and that was on a holiday weekend. Just because they don't cram 110,000 screaming assholes into a stadium, doesn't mean they don't fill them up. The only evidence I could find of anyone crying about people leaving was a U of M player bitching that fans left during the OSU game. But please, continue.

I'll root for the B1G now, no matter who they play. You can go cry in a corner and pray to Capt. Khaki for a better season next year.

You do realize we are talking about whether MSU travels well right? I mean that's what the discussion is about. If you can't put two and two together and come to the conclusion that a fanbase that doesn't fill their own stadium is not a fanbase that travels well then there's no point in trying to explain anything to you. That's the reason they get skipped on bowls and why IA had a much better turn out at the championship game.

Michigan got lucky in the Minnesota game. I can admit that. Probably should have lost, but didn't. I can live with the fact that we did get lucky in 1 game. As for Indiana. There wasn't a team out there that didn't struggle against Indiana. If you need a refresher, MSU didn't fully pull away from them till there was 2 minutes left in the game. They had a 12 point lead with less than 5 mintues to go if you want to call that decisively winning.

Why do we have to root for the B1G? For all I care, the whole B1G can go 1-11 as long as UM does well. I don't get the conference pride thing and never will. You want to root for the teams who recruit against you and play against you more power to you. The only team I hate outright is OSU but I at least respect their fanbase as they usually are sane and use their brain. MSU fans are intolerable since they don't use rational thought, cry and bitch about how unfair the world is to them and make excuses for anything that happens. AKA, they act like little brothers.

I wouldn't argue that U of M travels better than MSU. I see far more Wal-Mart Wolverines and alumni scattered across the country than MSU. Doesn't bother me any. MSU can and will travel well. I'll reference the Rose Bowl game against Stanford, where over half the stadium was MSU fans. They even went into Stanford's season ticket pool, pre-purchased tickets for the 2014 season, then cancelled their order after getting dibs on Rose Bowl tickets.

We tried to get tickets to the B1G Championship, but didn't want to spend $200+ on nosebleed seats. We'll know tonight if we got two tickets to the Cotton Bowl. I expect there to be a lot of green & white in Arlington. Considering that's a short away game for Alabama, it'll be full, but MSU will have no trouble representing.

MSU fans act like little brothers? Considering all the crying and bitching like a teenage girl on her first period, you're acting exactly like...wait for it...little sister.

I had the chance at cotton bowl, but Bama is making it that you have to prepay for both games and if there is No second game they refund the difference, it was 1800 for 2 seats to the games

My in law's are season ticket holders. They had the option of four tickets, but reserved two for the Cotton Bowl. We won't know until 10pm if they get the tickets or not.
 
Sparty travels well. Always a lot of green at away and neutral games. I sure Sparty will be well represented in Dallas.

As for the second game, it seems there was a reason the student section cleared out. BUT I do agree many of the students do cut out early. I almost wish MSU would open the seats up to others. It isn't just MSU though. Most schools are having this problem.

As for the nosebleed seats in the upper deck, those seats truly suck. I sat up there about 20 years ago when Saban was coach. I think that's where the visiting fans should have to sit...

I will say this...I can not, under any circumstances, root for Michigan. A perfect Saturday is an MSU win and losses by Michigan and Notre Dame. No matter how much a UM win would boost the B1G, I would not root for them. I have no bitterness with OSU. It's not our fight except the week we play them. Yes, I rooted for Ohio State against Michigan. I was pissed when they beat Minnesota and Indiana ($25 not withstanding).

This hatred has gone on before the Arrogant Asses comment by Darryl Rogers (1978). There has been 40 years of darkness that lifted when Dantonio became coach. Mike Hart pissed off Dantonio and HE wears his distain on his sleeve. As long as Dantonio is coach State will always have a chip on there shoulder vs Michigan.

I guess this makes me Ryan in green...

I really don't want to get dragged into this argument, but I just wanted to point out that the terms "Sav a lot Sparty" or "Walmart Wolverine" are usually reserved for fans who didn't attend the university. I know Ryan did attend UM. Can't speak for you on your collegiate history. Just an FYI.

That being said, congrats to MSU for their birth in the playoff. One thing you can't take away from that football team is their effort and resolve, and the fact that they play all 60 minutes as UM and OSU learned.

Yes, I can confirm he is injured.

The extent of his injury and his availability for the bowl are competitive advantage questions that I think are best left to Michigan/Harbaugh to answer.

I don't want to speak out of turn on this and provide information for the competition that Michigan doesn't want out there.
