Chrysler has also already stated the 485hp srt, will go low 12s another .5 sec gain

I've only taken my 2012 300 SRT to the track once - on an un-prepped surface it went 12.8@109. No doubt with better track conditions it would have done better, so I don't see any reason why a new one with the 8spd would go deep into the 12's.

As for the Hellcat, I can't wait to see one at the track.
 
Saw this today at Eyes on Design held at the Edsel Ford Estate. Damn nice looking car. Very nice interior. White is a good color for this slab sided full size. The SRT rep was tight lipped on hp and most everybody was asking. Maybe we will hear something soon. The Viper was beautiful of course.

Do I need to log into this sight to call this total BS or can I just do it here. :)

I've been thinking about this too. Why would the clutch be "going out"? I'm not thinking production rubber would have that kind of traction to burn a clutch. Maybe drag radials? Maybe slicks? Maybe a shot of NOS too? Who knows.
