Last Call for Challenger and Charger!

100% serious

It is crazy the stuff the the OEM's are trying to get you to pay extra for. I guess GM kind of kicked it off by making a $1000 onstar plan mandatory. Mercedes just released the EQS EV. In the US, the rear wheels will steer 10 degrees when you buy the car. In Germany, though, they only steer 4.5 degrees, unless you pony up like $500 a year to unlock the the last 5.5 degrees. The BS on all of this, is that you are already paying for the 10 degree system, it is baked into the price of your car.

So yea, I totally believe it. You want to do donuts? $10 each.

Time to collect a few frames, engines and transmissions and get ready to put my own vehicles together. 1 every 10 years should work.

I gotta think that getting into late model restorations is going to be a huge business. Buy a Silverado today, and get it reconditioned every decade. Not sure how any OEM is going to provide light duty tow vehicles to the masses that haul trailers and boats past 2035. Most automakers are pledging to convert to electric by then, but no way are they going to have enough towing range to get up north with a 7000+ lb load.

And here is the Mercedes app site. Pretty cool until you realize that you already paid for the functionality, you are just getting the software enabled.
