2013 GT500 Certified at 662hp and 630 ft-lbs/tq

So the SAE rating #'s are now in (and public) for the 2013 GT500 so I can post them here.

The car was announced with 650hp/600tq but the engine actually ended up at 662hp/630tq in the SAE rating.

You will start to see more about 1/4 and other performance metrics soon enough, and you won't be disapointed (read: its not a total wheel spin fest)

I'll be impressed once the 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times and top speed are released. If it can't/won't beat the ZL1 it's a complete failure IMO. HP/TQ #'s are for dyno queens and Supra's. Track #'s are for the real world.

Isn't this car slated to 202mph? We have heard this is supposed to smoke the ZL1's 180ish top speed.....

GTs are in the mid to upper 40s. I've seen quite a few over 50k. You're probably looking about 70k for one of these once dealers tax them.

ive seen the 2011 GT's loaded when they were new for 33k... i havent seen one in the 40s yet.. maybe close with the glass roof but thats really it.
