Oh I hear you on that, but I'm sure you'd agree that it'd be easier to only be 30-120 minutes away, rather than recovering from a full day of travel.

I agree but like I said its a vacation for alot of these guys, They get HOOKED up with stuff and all have a good time while away at bowl games. Id bet if you asked the MSU team if theyed rather stay in EL and play or go to Florida 90% would say lets go to florida.

Very true about the vacation aspect.

Les Miles isn't a bad choice IMO. Nearly anything is better than RichRod, and Les has been very competitive in a tough conference which looks good.

I could live with a guy like Harbaugh...not Brady Joke. There are other options besides a barely proven MAC level coach.

Hmmm, if I remember correctly, the last time Michigan hired a 'barely proven MAC level coach', it was Bo Schembechler, who was the head coach at Miami, OH. When MSU hire John L. Smith, I wanted the Spartans to hire a 'barely proven MAC level coach' that was at Bowling Green. His name? Urban Meyer. Hoke is no joke. If Dantonio fell over tomorrow and the Spartans didn't hire from within, I wouldn't mind having Brady Hoke as coach.

Yea. If he's still coach, Fox is gonna have some serious splannin to do.

The ONLY reason I'd like to see Arkansas light up OSU is so the Michigan slappies can think about what they had... Maybe OSU wins 52-49 so Mallett can have 7 TD passes and the Big Ten gets a win.

OK, I have to say this. This is now officially a clusterfuck. I think Brandon should get a five year extension along with RichRod. The bowl game was just a reprisal of the previous 12 games. not only do you screw up recruiting by waiting this long, but who wants to coach at a school that would leave the coach out to dry after only 3 years? And unless you get Harbaugh, which seems highly unlikely at this point, are you getting a coach who's any better? The athletic department at UM has become a complete joke and this decision has just turned into a punchline.

I agree 3 years to completely change a whole program.... what a joke. Give him 2 more years and they will be at the top of the Big 10 again.

Brandon has once again turned the U of M into the laughing stock of the college football world. Please, fire him and bring in Millen. I'm seriously considering not getting my season tickets next year because of all of this.

So with all this discussion, what are the chances that Rich rod stays but his defensive staff is fired? Seems like that could easily be the direction this is going, unless last night's double super secret discussion with Harbaugh resulted in him telling the AD he was packing his bags for Michigan.
