how long have you had those quotes stashed away for this day?

Been waiting every day for the past 3 years or so. There is a lot more too, I just have to dig them up.

I've hated this douche since day one. Don't let the door hit you on the way out Dick Wad!

this is bad. JH is not coming, so who is it going to be???

As much as I dont like RR I would rather have a bad coach than no coach. we'll see how long they take to look for a new guy.

Rodriguez was 15-22 during three seasons in Ann Arbor. He lost a school-record nine games in his debut with the Wolverines two years ago, was 5-7 after starting 4-0 last season and turned a 5-0 start into a 7-5 finish this fall.

They were paying him $2.5 M a year & NOT getting good results. He needed to go.

They could have lost just as many games with me coaching them and I would have only charged them $1M a year.

There hasn't been a single source (David Brandon, Jim Harbaugh, Stanford, 49's ect ect) that said he's not coming to Michigan. It's all pure speculation at this point. Let's not give up all hope and rule him out yet....

Bo Schembechler's ghost could run this program better than Rich Rod. Actually I hope he coaches this team if we dont get harbaugh. Dig up his play book, play his speeches in the locker room, and a card board cut out of him on the sideline.

LOL, agreed. Thank goodness and I hope they find a sensible coach soon. Hopefully someone defensive minded that is a truly great COACH. A great coach can win with any type of players; unlike RichRod trying to make square pieces fit in circle cut-outs, you need to be able to work with the men you have available and build forward.

They need to find a coach and find one quick. There is about a month left of recruiting and we need one to help keeping the ones we already have. People like Brady Joke or MAC level coaches sure won't be bringing any with them.

Maybe I just don't understand college football, but how can you have a 40,000 student school, a huge base of wealthy alumni, a stellar academic program, a winning tradition, and still manage to suck ass? Michigan is a prime example of how athletic programs are used to enrich the university bank balances, and with 110,000 people showing up every Saturday covered in maize and blue, shouldn't they be able to field a better product? It's not like most of these guys are anything but mercenaries anyways.

simple its cold, big 10 sucks, SEC and ohio state pay players, Michigan makes them keep their grades up and go to class,

Hardly. Remember - it was UofM that just got in trouble for cheating the rules on practicing. And if you think every Michigan athlete is getting an education in the Experimental Theories of Physics, you're crazy. This is part of why it's more amazing how well Stanford has done with how hard it is to get into that school - even for athletes.
They all do illegal things, but not all get caught. Some other schools do have the luxury of having lower academic standards, but that doesn't explain everything. I'm still tired of seeing all these schools in the South playing bowl games in their backyards though. USC is less than 15 miles from the Rose Bowl, and I always laughed when they played in it as a "neutral field."

No one wants to play a bowl game in the freezing cold. Both bowl games I went to the fans was 50/50. Michigan vs. Texas and Penn st. vs. Florida
