If Brandon doesn't have a replacement in place he had better not can him. Otherwise the situation we're in now will seem like a great time compared to what we will have.
Ah, but we can only hope... HA!

And who did UM beat?
UConn, Notre Dame, Bowling Green, UMass (DII), Indiana, Illinois and Purdue. Are you proud of any of those wins, Ryan?
UConn is about to win the Big East and go to a BCS bowl
Which is a joke. They are a decent team, not a BCS team. Not even a New Year's bowl team. The system is junk.
And Michigan's next ass kicking will be at the hands of the other MSU. Mississippi State vs Michigan at the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville. I can't belive they moved this turd bowl up to New Years Day. It used to be Dec. 28th.
And so you Michigan Guys don't get lost in Jacksonville, here's a couple pictures I took of the Gator Bowl (otherwise known as EverBank Field) while I was going past on Thursday...

I actually think we will have a better chance to win then MSU. Bama is going to crush you guys. I am calling it like I called the CMU win last year...Bama by 4 TDs
OK, for $20 you're giving me MSU +28...?

So Stanford offered Harbaugh an extension today. He hasn't accepted it. ( of course he just got it today ) But it will be interesting to watch. The longer it takes for him to sign it, the better the chance of him coming to Michigan.
ESPN analysts: Delay on Rich Rodriguez decision will impact U-M recruiting

Until Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon determines the job status of coach Rich Rodriguez and the future of the program, speculation will continue to run rampant and recruiting will be affected.
That's how ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit views the situation at Michigan.

Michigan (7-5) will face Mississippi State (8-4) in the New Year's Day Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla. Brandon will wait until after that game to evaluate Rodriguez.
"I think speculation is going to continue to swirl off the heels of the banquet and everything that happened there," Herbstreit, speaking on an ESPN conference call Monday, said, referring to Rodriguez's emotional speech at Thursday's football banquet.
"Just by reading stuff, I guess the reaction from what happened in that particular instance was shocking by a lot of the Michigan fans. And now you have an athletic director who's new on the job, as far as he didn't make this hire, and a lot of people are going to speculate."
Chris Fowler, host of ESPN's College GameDay, said is speaks volumes that Brandon has not yet determined Rodriguez's future.
"I think a lot of athletic directors sometimes don't realize, don't acknowledge that silence on a subject is deafening and 'no comment' is actually a very loud comment.
"That's how it's being read, and that's how that situation is being perceived nationally. If that's what he's intending to communicate, then that's what he's accomplished. But, I think without some strong statement, imaginations run wild and the 24-hour news cycle will not sit tight for a month."
Herbstreit said the next few weeks of uncertainty could have a negative affect on recruiting. Michigan lost three-star quarterback Kevin Sousa, who reportedly has switched his commitment to Wake Forest. Four-star running back Dee Hart also reportedly is waffling on his commitment to Michigan.
"Until you get by that first week in January, it's definitely going to affect the direction of that program," Herbstreit said. "You're trying to go out and sell to a recruit, 'Come on a visit, and we want a verbal from you,' and the big question you're going to get from mom and dad is, 'Are you definitely going to be the head coach here?'
"And Rich, of course, is going to say yes. But until they get through that first week of January, there are going to be a lot of people that are going to be wondering what really is going to happen, and that definitely could affect your preparation for a bowl game, and also affect the direction in trying to recruit for the next year."
By the way, I'm hating myself for taking anything Kirk says as being worthwhile.
