People put too much stock in big name coaches. Jim Tressel was a no body and he's doing a-ok.

The last time he was never even contacted by the school. He made the shit up to get a bigger deal and more money.

This time it sounds like more of the same, although the school did end up talking to him. Hopefully DB saw him for the snake he is and said no thanks.

his interest in UofM has been widely known over the years. so either he's a brilliant sycophantic media genius who made it all up for publicity... or... he really did want to be UofM's coach, but doesn't want to get buttfucked like RRod did.

Jim Tressel won 4 National Titles in 1-AA and went to 5 Championships with Youngstown State. He had offers from other schools he turned down until he could get the OSU or ND job. He was far from a nobody, maybe you never heard of him, but he wasnt exactly flying under the radar.

I know, but face it you guys NEED a big name to come pull that program from the dumps. Hire some no nome and who is gonna wanna go to a medicore Michigan with a no name coach. Face facts, recuits want to WIN, and usually there gonna go where they think they can win.


Unless a no name coach can pull at least an 8 win season off the bat i dont see this ending well for Michigan.
