Apparently this is Danatonio's first year since obviously he's never run up the score in the second half.

Well, as today is Friday and having to pick up a friend from the airport at lunch tomorrow, I'll put in my .02. As much as I want to see MSU in the Rose Bowl. I don't see OSU losing to Michigan. OSU 41, UM 17

Win one for the Flounder!

GO Blue!

......

GO BUCKS!!!

i think when the 2011 um football thread comes out, you will see that nothings "been settled". never will be.

my real fear is how will these um guys portray themselves after um's inevitable return to football prominence? they're barely tolerable most days now. these threads will really be a nut-swing-fest then....:puke:

As opposed to 100 pages of whatever this back and forth is? Can't be much worse

For the record, I don't mind running up the score in and of itself. What I can't stand is Beilema acting like his shit doesn't stink, while hiding behind "the card" or saying it was his 3rd string. You can go for 2 up 4 scores with 6 minutes left. You can throw bombs in the 4th already up 50 points. But don't use lame excuses to justify it, and don't bitch about how other programs do things when you don't like it. He's a bitch.

This team isn't built on smoke and mirrors, it is what it is. A young, explosive offense with an all time bad defense and an all time bad special teams.

I'm not sure what's gonna happen tomorrow, but I've got to imagine OSU blows them out in the Horseshoe. If that happens, Jim Harbaugh could be on a flight to Detroit very soon.

I think if UM is blown out, so will Rich Rod. The question will be what constitutes a blowout? A loss by 10, 14 or do they have to win?

Yeah, it's pretty subjective. I think 2+ tds is a blow out, but it also depends on the "eye" test, how the game goes. But Brandon is wisely playing this close to his vest, perhaps any loss at all brings the axe(if his "next coach" is available).

whelp, that's that. Now the discussion begins about Richrod's future. I personally don't see it as an issue or even a serious discussion. He's got another year to show substantial results and I agree that he's told to get rid of his Defensive Coordinator. Harbaugh opened his yapper in the past few years being very critical and negative about the U of M, so if there is a discussion about Rod's future, Harbaugh isn't an option in my opinion. I'd think if there's going to be a coaching change, it gets announced in the next three weeks. Each week that it's not announced the less likely there's going to be a change. Les Miles would be a disaster of a coaching choice and I can't imagine after the fuckup of the last time we supposedly wanted him that he'd even get consideration.

If RichRod is canned, Harbaugh is the ONLY choice, regardless what he said. He's the only guy UM could hire that I be worried about verses MSU. And if they fire RichRod, who else would go there knowing they have two or three years or they'd be fired? Not only would Harbaugh be the right choice, he's their only choice.
