It's not the same thing. MSU called off the dogs against inferior opponents. UM has played one inferior opponent* (BGSU) and you have Forcier going 12 for 12 after Robinson was pulled due to injury. I'm sure RichRod was probably gunning for 70 points to keep his critics at bay. Bielema did it for BCS style points. Again, the moral toilet.

* Actually UM has played many inferior opponents, but they couldn't beat them. Like Toledo...

LOL @ you spouting off about "moral toilet" and putting D'Antonio on a pedastal... after he puts Rucker back on the team the day he was released from jail on his second criminal conviction in the past year. Yeah, that's a real honorable program and coach right there.

How's that for moral toilet of an institution.

Hey, Dantonio doesn't cheat like RichRod. What did UM get, two years or three years of probation? I said I wasn't happy with Rucker coming back that week. It think it created enough problems to cost them the Iowa game. Debt paid. How many years until Michigan's debt is paid? Did you notice that Michigan celebrated the criminal basketball team from the '90's? Nothing else to celebrate, so they brought back the guys who lost every game for 4 years. Where are your final four banners???

The University of Michigan... Cheater U.

How many of those Wolverines served jail sentences? How many of them were convicted of crimes? How many were convicted of two separate crimes? And most importantly, how many of them were allowed back on the team immediately after?

Convict State University

OK Genius, who was convicted of...what? Didn't see any drug pushers on MSU's team. Didn't see anyone trying to set off explosives in a dorm because of something done by something on the MSU football team. How many MSU players were convicted of multiple break ins? UM, Cheater U and Convict U

You keep telling yourself that you're different but we all know the truth. If it let's you sleep at night more power to you

Ryan, which school is on probation? Which team doesn't get it's full alotment of scholarships? Oh yeah, that's the Stink Bears. I think everyone in East Lansing sleeps pretty good.

yeah, but those U-M players you refer to (I'm sure you're bring up Feagan again)...they were kicked off the team. Rucker was convicted TWICE in one year, and was back on the team the day after his jail sentence was up. You are seriously, SERIOUSLY delusional. Like, borderline mentally retarded.

Don't forget your laptop ring that Sims was running. Convicted and sentenced... but he's only "suspended" at MSU. I'm sure he will be back on the team as well.

Nice strawman argument. The fact is that I've proven how MSU has in the last 10 years "ran up the score" based on your own wording. You can justify it all you want by pointing to meaningless points but the fact still remains that you're clueless and can't make a single point without messing it up.

Did you find out what Rucker was actually convicted of? And Sims was convicted of Possession of Stolen Property for one laptop. I know you don't bother reading the complete article when you bring stuff up. It gets in the way of a good (slanted) story.

Ryan, what it means is that I wasn't going to look up each individual game going back ten years. I said Dantonio wasn't going to run up the score. For all I know, John L. Smith, Bobby William, Nick Saban or George Perles didn't run up the score. And if they did, how does that reflect on if Dantonio would or would not run up the score? I can show you the box scores for games coached by Dantonio, as these as still available on ESPN. If MSU piles on an opponent in the 3rd & 4th quarters like UM did to Bowling Green and Wisconsin did to Indiana, bring it up and I'll be ashamed. Until then, just admit that RichRod will run up the score like he did at West Virginia and he'll recruit guys like Pacman Jones and Chris Henry. Keep in mind that the NCAA investigation into RichRods practice procedures at WV isn't over yet. I think it would be sweet if the same coach got two schools put on probation, and that coach is at Michigan.

wow.....double probation.........how funny would that be.....

or is that "double secret" probation....?

Jim, I found a picture of RichRod his first day at West Virginia as a student. Doesn't look much different...

"michigan state does it too"
"not since dantonio has come on board"
"but they still did it"
"not since dantonio has come on board"
"but they still did it"

does that sum up your guys argument for the last couple of pages? :)

Nope, it's been settled. RichRod is Flounder. Life can now go on.

i think when the 2011 um football thread comes out, you will see that nothings "been settled". never will be.

my real fear is how will these um guys portray themselves after um's inevitable return to football prominence? they're barely tolerable most days now. these threads will really be a nut-swing-fest then....:puke:

Come on now Jim. We don't want Flounder fired. That's another reason I want Michigan to win Saturday. Nothing would be better than having Flounder extended another 7-8 years... :)

Nothing better than a team built on smoke and mirrors. Reminds me of the Lions...

Well, as today is Friday and having to pick up a friend from the airport at lunch tomorrow, I'll put in my .02. As much as I want to see MSU in the Rose Bowl. I don't see OSU losing to Michigan. OSU 41, UM 17

Win one for the Flounder!

GO Blue!
