Ryan, the schedules for MSU & UM are not complete. I'd like to think MSU's first game won't be against a 1-AA team. Michigan still has two open dates and could put 'Little Sister's of the Poor' on for 1 game, and Ann Arbor Pioneer in the other. UM & MSU both play Notre Dame. I don't think anything can be compared until the schedules are full. They play Alabama once and all of a sudden UM has the world's toughest schedule...LOL!

As for OSU's schedule, Cincy and Cal are wild cards. Both have been excellent in recent years and have gone to BCS Bowls. I'm not saying that they'll be up to those standards, but until 2012, who knows? And at least UAB is in Conference USA and not 1AA. And just about every Big Ten team plays a MAC team (willing to bet one will be on UM's schedule).

The one thing the UM will always have on us is the rivalry game. UM will always play OSU and we get to beat up Indiana.

Even if UM plays Toledo and BGSU, their schedule is far more difficult than OSU's.

You can interchange NW, Illinois, and Min as a ranked team.

OSU's ranked game possibility:

Interchange PSU, Wis, and Ill as a ranked team.

MSU's schedule is a little tougher than OSU's. This is all going off the basis of teams for the most part not floundering or jumping up in competitiveness.

Northwestern won't be ranked. They have to play MSU, Nebraska, Iowa and their cross over game. That and they don't play the toughest non-conference schedule. No different than this year. The NW/UM game will decide if NW goes to a bowl game.
