this loss is entirely the Defenses fault. Despite the turnovers and everything else, this offense put them back in a position to win and the Defense does nothing.

You would be correct. But 4 turnovers certainly do nothing to help. QB controversy? Forcier played a lot better than Robinson.

No, no controversy. Robinson still has 1/10th the turnovers of Tate in the last 2 years. Tate makes an excellent backup qb. And with that last to, it's both Offense and Defense fault.

It's equally at the fault of the offense and the defense AND the special teams. There were huge mistakes on all sides. You can't entirely blame the defense when you turn the ball over FOUR times. You can't blame the defense when Iowa starts at close to midfield on every possession. The two kickoffs out of bounds, the blocked kick and subsequent return.

The ONLY thing I liked about this game is the fact that the team didn't give up. They showed a lot of character by making a game of it. It would have been very easy to pack it in when they were down 28-7 in the 4th quarter.

Michigan's post game press conference...

Reporter: "Rich, with the failure of your defense to stop any team you play, the kicking team being a complete non-factor and the offense turning the ball over 4 times today, what do you think of your teams execution?"

Rich Rodriquez: "I'm all for it!"

that's awesome......lmao. so....from an unbiased point of view, i'd say michigan is a much better team than they're showing. they're just too undisciplined. missed picks, penalties, turnovers........and they still made a game of it. they showed some heart today. personally, i like forcier at qb. he worries me more than d-rob. with d-rob, you just always have a feeling that he'll turn it over at crunch time. forcier is a gamer. he showed that last year. honestly, what amazed me, was the amount of fans that were complete assholes. i mean serious fucking douchebags. from the folks in front of me that refused to move even 4-6 inches so some poor kid could sit down next to his g/f,(the one guy actually sat on the kid's seat #), to the 50 year old guy giving me shit just for trying to squeeze back to my seat after halftime. i even had a um hat on! i told him to fuck off, i didn't build the fucking stadium. it was incredible!!!!!...plus booing the shit out of your team at halftime???..c'mon.....show some class. despite that, we had a great time!!...

When Michigan closed to within 35-28, the cameras were panning the crowd and many had already left the stadium.

With the stadium being that crowded, there are always a few assholes like that. I make sure I put my taint right on my seat number... if somebody is encroaching on my 8" of designated seat area, I am sitting on them. There's also a lot of people who get pissy about standing up. Myself, I'd rather stand the whole game. Last weekend, somebody was yelling at my brother to sit down on the second play of the game. He just yelled back "Watch it home on your plasma!"

Can't blame this one entirely on the defense. Special teams and the offense put them in a terrible position time after time after time.

So many mistakes, from big ones to little ones. They score, have momentum, dude kicks it out of bounds.....TWICE. Short field goal blocked, returned to midfield. 3 picks. Fumble in the redzone. Kovacs drops a pick, Iowa scores a TD the next play. Huge personal foul penalties on both sides of the ball. Missed tackles mean Iowa picks up a first down on a running play on 3rd and 14, later scoring a TD. The pussy move at the end of the half punting the ball.

Forcier and Robinson have the same mentality, they try to make the big play every play. I said it before, I think either QB can run this offense and do it in an explosive manner, but it is SO much more dynamic and has way more potential with Denard. He just needs to take what they give him. He seems extremely reluctant to run when he does a straight drop, which is odd. If he runs early on that play at the end of the first half, RR isn't given the chance to make the call to punt.

This team is just way too un-disciplined, which starts with the coach. And for the love of god, find a kicker.

agreed mike, but this kid was a smaller framed guy in his early 20's, probably a um grad, that was trying hard to just get along. when a 60 yr. old guy tells his girl to "get over it", and his buddy, the big, loud, 50 year old schoolyard bully, refuses to budge even an inch, when he's almost sitting in the seat next to him, that's bullshit. it's really not worth discussing, just pissed me off.

all in all though, the whole experience reminded me of why i love college football way more than the nfl. absolutely perfect gameday.....

i'm laughing now, just recalling the looks on the faces of the diehard um husband/wife fans sitting next to me. they just couldn't wrap their heads around the guy in the um gear who was laughing at every um miscue, and cheering every iowa score...........

Karma is a bitch. Roll badgers, roll.

You'd never catch me dead wearing any OSU gear ever, anywhere.

dude, i think you're a bit too serious about all this. ryan, tom, mike, myself,....we all have fun with this. lemme see.. my daughter, who is a um fan, bought me a hat and pullover. by all means, let me be the asshole, and refuse to wear it. better yet, mike is selling um shirts for a good cause, i bought 2. but that'd be ok, right??? i guess i just don't get some of you um folks. it's a damn game,......osu lost, big deal. i had fun at um with my wife. kharma my ass.....get over it......

Iowa is going to win, I don't know by how much. All they have to do is play smash mouth football like MSU did, stay home and not over pursue Denard, and they will get the W. But hey, it's college football and anything can happen. I'll be sure to be drunk by halftime just incase we are getting slaughtered.

GO BLUE.

Well I'm still right on the mark for this year, but I wish I wasn't. Mistakes were awful yesterday. Too many penalties, mistakes and not enough aggression by the offense in the 2nd and 3rd.

Here are some pics from yesterday to go with that video.

I can promise you I take this a lot less seriously than most. If it wasn't fun, I wouldn't be posting.

Dude can dish it out but gets all pissy when his boys lose. But I'm too serious? I'm not the troll.

I gotta lot of great friends with ties to OSU. I'll donate to a good cause no matter who is putting it on. But you won't find me wearing Buckeye colors. And I can promise you none of my buddies will be rolling into Ann Arbor wearing Maize and Blue any time soon.

State won, Michigan lost, I ran a new personal best ET and mph at the rental, and the weather was perfect...talk about a saturday

Yeah, A TON left, as this video shows.

God you're suck a fucking moron.

Um, yeah. You do realize that didn't show the whole stadium. Most of the empty seats were in the end zone and they were in the last 20 rows. I'll check the DVR and try and get a game time for the footage. But I wasn't the guy holding the camera and I wasn't the guy who left. Just stating what I saw on TV.
