1979 mustang hatch rebuild

i'm trying to look for a carb that is good for blow through but i'm having a hard time with it anyone out there have any advice to give it would be greatly appreciated.
 
i love talking to vendors might have a possible sponsorship that would be great considering i lost my last one because he went out of business
 
I wonder what someone put in ur tank? good luck on the build I know what its like being strapped for cash, being 20 years old and on my 2nd car its hard but wouldnt buying a new short block or motor be a better idea first instead of buying a turbo kit that probaly cost as much as a motor, you cant strap a turbo on a bad motor.
 
u rebuild a bad motor! just clean it up and new barings and such!

where not sure what it was i think it was something alcohol based but it smells like fertilizer the only time i would buy a new block would be for either a dart or boss 4 bolt main block im just going to re ring mine and put new bearings in it and yes the turbo kit cost four times what i paid for the car haha but thats what the hobby is all about
 
i was in the garage today cleaning up before the car comes in had to move my dads capri out of the way but anyway my old carb is locked up completely with this white corrosion its weird i drained all of the gas out of it when i took it off of the car kinda sucks i was hoping i would get some money out of it when i sold it but oh well that points towards bleach as the culprit but anyway a 331 is in the works now im going to build that for boost then put the turbo on it once i get more money why limit a turbo with my motor instead im going to have a motor that can handle all kinds of boost
 
Ok it's been a while since I've made an update on the project the car got pushed out of the garage to store all of my dads toys. But the past couple of weeks I went out to start putsing around with it but I still can't believe some one would destroy another persons car it's going to cost so much just to get it running the way it was and I would prefer to go faster I can't really afford boost anymore. Because I moved out and me and my girlfriend are getting married but whenever I make progress I will be sure to post pics
