The best cam for a stock 302 is a stock HO cam. Cam only swaps do little to nothing on a stock restricted motor, and can hurt performance

Meh, my car hass a cobra motor (3 bar gt40 irons and all that good stuff). But, I has that wimpy cobra cam. Hence why I want to upgrade.

A trickflow cam wouldn't be my first choice. I had a 302 w/ stock heads/intake a 4.10 and a B cam. Worked well, went 13.90's spinning hard.

Just did some research, and apparently the TFS1 doesn't work well on 1.7 roller rockers.

Sooo, that's out. Now I'm looking for something that WILL work with 1.7 roller rockers... Maybe a B cam, or the Crane 2031, something along that line.

Yea, the suggestions are a big help.

My mods are: 95 Cobra motor, long tubes, offroad x and dumps, 4.10s, steeda tri ax, aluminum driveshaft, underdrive pulleys, cold air intake, some ignition stuff, and slicks n skinnies.

Pretty much gonna be a drag strip car. Waiting for the T5 to die, so I can get a C4.

Im running the b303 cam 1.7rr, with gt40x aluminum heads, BBK intake, and im making 284 at the tire. And the b cam has a nice lopey idle.

I had the B cam in my white hatch. Complete stock bottom end-Wen't 11.20 @ 108 on 150 shot.... Would've went well into the 10's if I didn't let off at the 900 ft. Just had to make sure I won the race. The car I beat went 119mph in the 1/4.:sagrin:

damn thats fuckin movin...what heads were you running? I sprayed 75 last year before my tune and completely stock suspension down to the shocks and went 12.4 @ 113 that was 2.0 60' . that makes me real curious what mine will do with a 150 and my new suspension setup :headscrat

Can a mod change the title to something better? I'm basically looking for a B cam, or something similar that works with 1.7 RR's.

stock twisted wedge heads and trickflow intake. 4.10 gear and a tight converter. Un-tuned. Wouldn't even run in PARK..... But it was fast. lol
