Long shot... but...
Tired of the slop in my YJ's AX5. Syncros are fine, shifts fine, but sometimes I end up in 4th instead of 2nd. Time to go to an AX15.
Would prefer a 90-99 AX15 from a 4.0L Wrangler. YJ or TJ doesn't matter. The differences between them and the years I can deal with.
The Cherokee/XJ AX15 clocks the transfer case differently and while I can deal with re-drilling the transmission for it to be clocked right... I'd rather not.
A 96-98 Dakota AX15 from behind a 2.5L would work. I mostly would want the bellhousing though (easiest way for me to convert to AX15 versus the Advance Adapters plate).
