WTB reliable daily driver, for 2k or under

my sister just wrecked her vehicle and the insurance gave her 1500 dollars, shes not the best with money but she does need a car to get to and fro.

does not matter what the car is, all respectable offers would work

needs to be pretty reliable, no show winners obviously.

my mom is trying to sell a 2001 (i think) caravan sport. runs and drives nicely. I think she wants $1750 for it. its white, has some rust along the bottom and rear wheel well. it was my dads car and he drove it everywhere without any issues (other than a fuel pump, which is now new). i believe it has low 160k miles on it.
