so long story short,
Someone owed my dad some money and they gave him this car to knock some of the debt off. i have zero time to work on something to flip so i figured maybe someone else on here may want to see whats up, if not ill get it done over the next month i guess.
ok so on with the car. like i said its a project to flip unless you need something to drive and are low on cash. i'm just going to name the issues off, any pros can be seen you you when you come look.
forgot what year 1999 i think. Cadillac catara.
90k miles
Outside is silver... like a 4-5 outa 10 (large dent where door and fender meet, body guy maybe able to work his magic, im not sure though.)
dident see rust when i was loading it up last night, but ill look again when i go home to unload it later.
inside could use a good clean and a shift boot (black leather was pealing), dident look super bad. black leather. 5.5 out of 10. you could be straight gangster pimping in this thinggg.
needs one tire (has full size spare on it now, but matching rim included.)
starter has trouble engaging but by the 4th try or so it does..guessing it just needs a new one cuz dident sound like it was grinding on the flywheel,
needs a radiator im told also.
brakes feel stiff as far as when i loaded it on the trailer last night.
We can put it on my lift and pull the wheels for you to get a 360* view of everything before you buy as i have no known history on this car.
car will need to be towed, but can hear run, and drive around the block. i can tow if needed with in 20 miles of Newport free of charge, or a small fee outside of the 20 mile radius of Newport.
so these are the things i noticed and was advised last night, ill update later with any further issues i see once i have it unloaded and on my lift and will snap some pics.
i haven't even really looked at it fully..loaded it on my trailer last night and i will unload today.
he has 650$ in it, just looking to get it back out as i dont have the time or want to flip a car right now.(he thought i would want it and just got it) clean and clear title in hand. could make a good cheep first car for someone if you have the know how to fix the few issues stated.
