WTB: Daily Driver $3K or under

Well the Talon finally puked on me at 170K miles. Head gasket finally blew out on it.

It's either spend $2500 on a new motor and eventually another $1500 on the tranny when it pukes or find another daily driver.

I'm looking for 25 mpg or better. Driving 100 miles per day, mostly e-way.

Prefer mid-size coupe with small v6 or bigger 4 cyl car.

I have a 91 nissan pathfinder, decent shape, I posted a thread on here with pics.

Needs the rear brakes fixed and a master cylinder installed. I have all parts in the trunk to fix it, just no ambition to do so. Gets 23 MPG and 4x4 works perfect. Interior is mint! Has some rust though. Only asking $1000, but you gotta tow it away or fix the brakes in my driveway. Great daily driver for me until the brakes went. Lotsa new stuff on it too (timing belt, water pump, front brakes)
