Since all Mustangs were faster then the 2003-2007 (did the fifth gen start at 08 or 09?) Camaros simply because of those people.

All I'm saying is that the ENTHUSIASTS, and the cars respective performance, aren't the main reason the Mustang survived and the F-Body didn't.

The Mustang is a "safer" vehicle. It's more accessible. Chicks like driving it. Kids like rolling in it with the top down, whether it's got a v8 or not.

Lutz was nuts when he was talking about the numbers they "had" to hit with the new Camaro to keep it afloat. It's never gonna get close to the 'Stang. But that doesn't mean the Ford is a better performance vehicle. It actually my be inverse to that.

My car went 13.4 bone stock on street tires, the 02's can get into the 12's stock with a paper filter. No bullshit 2V is doing that, and if your talking about the Cobra then yes your right...Ford managed to run the same time as a N/A stock fbody by using a power adder, congrats. :gr_jest:

I dunno man. I was in my buddy's stock 04 GTO last summer and he was leaving a terminator in the dust.

BULL SHIT. my 05 gto was barely a match for a 03/04 cobra. with a tune, long tubes and CAI it was closer. thats almost 2k in parts and with a $100 pulley, the cobra was WAY faster.

your buddy must have been racing a guy that didnt know he was racing.

A 03/04 Cobra with a pully and a tune would need god himself to have any hope in beating a head/cam Fbody. :lol: I make just a little more than a good head/cam car and have no problems with whipple/kenne belle Cobras. Just face it, its not too late to cancel your 2011. :gr_jest: I'm just fucking with ya.

Prolly havent raced a properly set up cobra. Most of the "big blower" cars slap on a blower get it tuned and boom 600hp. Majority of them have not a dime in some suspension mods or weight reduction. I can think of a couple eaton cars that would surprise the hell outta you at the track:w00t:.
