Watch out Camaro... Here comes the 5.0! - 1st Dyno runs.

Racing is from a dig. That's the only way to do it! Hopefully that solid axle I spent so much on helps! :)

I'm pretty sure I'll need to crack open the bottle too!

Wait a second...solid axle ehhhh now that I think about it I may need the leave. :gr_jest:

Prolly havent raced a properly set up cobra. Most of the "big blower" cars slap on a blower get it tuned and boom 600hp. Majority of them have not a dime in some suspension mods or weight reduction. I can think of a couple eaton cars that would surprise the hell outta you at the track:w00t:.

That convertable I raced at 120rwhp more than me. I raced him on the highway...and he had a six speed. :headscrat

I wasn't spraying the car. It hasn't had nitrous on it since 2008, we just raced this past summer. It made 480rwhp on a Mustang dyno on motor. Even when I had the small kit on it, it would have been around 680rwhp and over 750rwtq. He wouldn't of been within a city block of me if I was spraying it. :flipa:

We were very close, when we would start even he would end up a car or two back. I gave him the hit the last race and it was pretty close. I think I had a half car on him. He was cool about it though, nice guy. He has a Cobra jet that would shit on me anyways lol.

Maybe this video will help you remember.

Any truth to this statement?

Yes, it is well documented that the rods are only good to the rated power output. The engineers said than anything other than NA will need stronger rods.

Besides with the engine being 11:1 you probably would want to swap in some dished pistons anyway for boosted application.
