For a MSU fan, this was a GREAT day! Carr will never get canned. The only coach I've ever seen get canned after winning a National Championship at the same school was Larry Coker at Miami (last year). Carr will be at UM until he doesn't want to be there.

I have no delusions of grandure with MSU, but what a great day! :rockwoot:

I don't see a single team that I think MI can beat.

I was telling everybody before the game that they have no secondary to speak of and I was told not to worry.

And who the hell decides to schedule the two time defending D1-AA champions. They aren't used to losing. They don't know how to lay down and die like bad D1-A teams do. Northwestern folds like a fucking lawn chair the instant an opponent crosses the goal line the first time. Not these guys. When somebody scores. They fight to score.

And why would you even schedule a D1-AA school? It does absolutely zero good. You beat them and its tossed aside because you were supposed to. You lose and its the biggest upset in college football history. You fall out of the top 25 and have to win out to even think about cracking the top again. Go out and get W. Michigan to beat the shit out of like you will E. Michigan.

Maybe Lloyd may want to think about retiring now instead of after the season.

1 Wolverine showed up to play today and that was Mike Hart. After getting a deep thigh bruise he comes back and cracks off one of the greatest runs I have ever seen. He was the only guy out there playing with any heart whatsoever and it showed.

I don't know if I want to go sit out in the sun and get burnt for 3 1/2 hours next week while Oregon fucking walks all over their secondary. It's just down right embarrassing how bad their secondary is.

This is so not a draw :lol: There are not "thousands" of athletes who roll big. That's just flat out wrong. Name me 500. Or 200. Or 100. There are about 1700 players in the NFL, most of whom are in it as a career. There are over 10,000 D1 football players each year. It's just statistics dude.

You can be upset the team you like lost, but they are not obligated by their status as scholarship athletes to be ranked no.1 at the end of every season.

i don't need to name thousands ,how old are you?how bout the whole Miami program in the 90s ?? those guys were very poor lol for evey guy or program that got caught there is 100s that don't so lots not loose sight here ,many college programs are very dirty they just don't get caught ..that why there is the (death penalty)in college football , you seem intellingent im not knocking you ,but lets be real !!!!how many teams or players that got caught do i need to name ??the list could go on but im not sober enuf to research so it is what it is

Perhaps they all know now that I was right about this man and are doubly embarrased for Michigan losing like it did, and for being wrong about someone they put so much trust in.

I am a Lloyd supporter. I believe he was going to retire at the end of this season. I believe he needs to retire at the end of this season.
I have not been embarassed about any of the previous losses to OSU
or the bowl games against very high quality programs.
This game was truly an embarassment of the severest kind for our program.
They were clearly not ready to play and that falls squarely on the coaches.
I think they'll recover and pride their way to a decent season, but this loss
will tarnish it. Oregon will be a tough test. We'll put a beating on ND.
I see PSU, WU, OSU all being tough tests now. I had a great day at the Lemans race yesterday with my dad and hadn't really stopped to think about
this yet, but now I don't feel so good.uke:

The person I place my bets with gave me App. state plus 9.5. I'm not sure either where he came up with that. I took it with the intentions of paying him and not getting paid. A long shot gamble like this worked for me in the past so I went with it.

It doswn't matter if you fire LLoyd. Unless they bring in some new blood, they will just promote one fo the assistants. When's the last time Michigan went outside to find a new head coach? Not during my lifetime.

When Marshall moved into the MAC from 1-AA (and a championship), they went 10-3 and they lost to Mississippi 34-31 and West Virginia 42-31. With scholarship limits, these schools are not that bad. Did Michigan take them lightly? Absolutely. But give A-State credit. They outplayed them.
