Ubly today!!

Ill be the first to admit that joes junk 454 went mid 10's on motor and I was pretty impressed all things concidered. I guess if you are class racing then you have to worry about cubes, but since most of us dont I guess you should go as big as possible.

Nitrous is cool, but....my motor is 4.035 bore and 3.40 stroke compared to your 4.100 and 3.48, and your heads were $6000 and mine were $600. I'll run the turbo next year, you spray, and we'll see how they compare. I'm sure you'll go faster, but probably not by much :)

Mike knows that's the engine size because he poured the pistons. Everyone on here has seen the flow sheets from the heads, they came off of corey's car back in the day when you were prolly still in grade school. I bought them for $600 with one chamber destroyed and Birdy fixed them for me. They flow 267/199 @ .600, which is where my cam is. No lies, the intake is off right now, you can stop by Davis' tomorrow night and check them out if you want :)

$600 for the heads come on! i paid over that for my iron square ports from GM with a discount, and that was a few years back, when are you going to post some good pic's of the car?

lol i had those heads in my hands to fix stripped out plug holes and they are nothing special no :bs:

They were well used and damaged. At the time I was doing some web site stuff for Birdy and he fixed them for free. They're TFS TW, one of the first sets out. I'm going to get some pics this weekend, hoping to have it on the dyno soon.

Its under 5k, but the guy that i bought them from probably had about 8k in the heads alone!!
