Ubly today!!

What I don't understand is that you can go damn near just as fast on motor as on spray so why not build a decent motor and make passes all year instead of blowing your shit up all the time.

if its right it wont blow up, i ran nitrous for 3 years and never messed anything up, also if you can street drive a nitrous motor a lil easier than a NA motor...

X2. i have never blown anything up because of nitrous, ever! it takes a lot more money to go fast on the motor then to spray it.

just never been a huge fan of going fast on the motor. its cost 40000-50000 to compete in milans motor classs. thats a fast, ask darrin of howdie, they both have 40000 in there motors to go 8:50s. toni has like 8 in his motor complete to go 8.90s not even trying, and pizza robs will go easy 8s and it dont have close to that amount in his. going fast on the motor is cool, but its cheaper for me, speaking for myself to spray it. you dont have to kill it, a little nitrous goes a long way

Turbocharging is even better! You can use any old pile of shit motor and put a turbo on it, and go fast.

I just wanted to throw that in with all the other opinions!

I personally like the fact that everyone is doing it different, even the chevy mustangs. I like anything fast, and it would be boring as hell if we all had the same shit.

It costs more though!

to be honest, if I found a dirt cheap sbf, sbm, that makes crazy power, i would by it and not think twice about putting it in my car, all they our is a air pump with a name.

I do understand your point but I only had 7 in my motor and went 9.2x. Kevin has a bit more and has gone 8.60 on motor. I plan on being competitive in all motor next year with 12 to 15 in my new motor. Howdy and Darren may have 40 in their motors but that is because they pay top dollar for everything and can't put things together themselves. And I'm whooping Pizza Robs ass next year or we can do it this weekend with Kevins car.

I like the fact that I can run pump gas in my cell, I use a 1 gallon cell with C16 for nitrous so fuel is cheaper, I run 11:1 compression, the converter is tight when I'm driving it on the street and with 3.73 gears it's cruises decent.

With that said I'd love to have a sick n/a combo one day.

You only had 7 in your motor, but that trans/clutch costs most people what a nice turbo kit would cost. It's all expensive to go that fast, doesn't really matter how you do it.

True, maybe I should bolt a 101 on it and rock out.

This is true but I can't get past the up front investment for a nicely set up turbo kit! Of course turbo's do work and seem to be pretty easy on parts. Can I have a loan?? ;)
