Ubly today!!

Like i said in another thread, I have about 6000 grand in my heads alone, and this is a all out nitrous motor. It's hard to make 367 cubes go as fast as these big block guys, but I am going to do it one way or another. My goal is to be competitive in drag radial next year. And I know its going to take at least a 8.60-8.50 to do so. We'll just keep adding nitrous to it until it goes that :).
 
a nitrous plate cost 500 bucks, and takes off over a second off real easy. pretty good investment for the money. how much would it take to make a n\a car lose that kind of et? a lot.

If you spend $6k on heads, why not just build a bigger motor?
 
I can weigh 2950 race weight next year with my current combo, at milan and orlando, and alot of other outlaw radial shootouts I can weigh less with than that.

No offense but if your going to Orlando it should be to ride a roller coaster. If you are tall enough. lol.

If the car will go 8.30's I can qualify, If i put a third kit on it, it would go that no doubt in my mind. But I would be really pushing it.

It's got to be 25.5 to go 8.30's in competition, right?

I bet the bank my combo is a 367ci, you can run the numbers yourself, 4.100 x 3.480 stroke.

I dont know, but if the car has to be that the car will have to be that. I'm willing to break the bank on this combo to be competitive.
 
But like johnnyslow said, it all looks good on paper, now if it runs that then it was all worth it, if its slow its getting burned to the ground :)

yeah, I personally rather spend the money and know that the stuff is right then buy someone elses take offs. Ive had kevins cylinder head in my hands, its a super nice peice.
