Lol was it that bad? Atleast you have the satisfaction of doing it yourself right. Good progress, I can't wait until I get mine dropped in so I can start building the hotside
 
It wasn't that bad. My backs killing me from being bent over the hood all day. The merge was probably the worst part. There's a few things I would do differenty
1) buy raw steel tubing and bends. I got lazy and didn't clear off all the aluminzing and had a bunch of dirty spots while welding
2) buy more bends and fittings. I bought just enough and didn't get to experiment with different routings. I was too nervous about screwing up a bend.

Hell no......building is the fun part!

Great progress so far...I can't wait to see this thing rolling down the road.

Little more progress yesterday. Had to lower the passeger side to clear the downpipe. Just waiting on a v band clamp and the wastegates.

What gates did you select?

Heads up....a lot of people have had issues with the flex joint bellow seperating and leaking. Just something to consider.

If you intake drilled and welded for a fogger?
 
I gotta talk to you about wasyegates. I talked to tommy a bit yesterday. Yeah the intakes drilled for a fogger.
 
Just read this entire thread from page 1 to here...incredible car! Kind of scratching my head by the time I got to page 60 and recalling what you said in your first post about a stock cruiser LOL! That's how it always goes though! Ask your painter (who apparently does PHENOMENAL work!) if he wants to paint a 67 Camaro next LOL!
 
Wow. Thanks. Get ahold of pacecarbbc as far as the paint. I'm pretty sure he is familiar with first gen camaros.
 
I'm working on it. I've got the turbine housing getting coated at QC. I just finished up installing the wastegates. I ordered my downpipe flange and bends today.
