The 04 Mach 1 that I just purchased has been tuned by Pauls High Performance and was set up with a tune for 93 octane since the car was in Michigan. It is now going to be out in Arizona where all we have is 91 octane. Do I need to get this retuned? If so, will it be ok to drive before I get it tuned? What would really be the difference in a 91-93 octane tune. Thinking just timing at higher rpm's.

I am going to contact Pauls and ask him but have not got around to it yet.

Does it have knock sensors and the ability to pull timing when it knocks? Isnt that how cars work nowadays?

Adding a couple gallons of MS109 unleaded VP would make for a killer smelling Mach1!!

If this car doesnt have boost, I think it will be fine.

A 4V should have 2 knock sensors in the intake valley. Depending on the tune IDK how aggressive the timing is or if the tune pulls any or much timing for knock

Either way you're fine to just drive it around. Personally I'd wait until you get it retuned before you really start getting on it, though.
