Trying to figure out what car this is..

looking to buy this car. the seller claims its an eclipse, but for some reason i cant let that go. The exterior does indeed look like the eclipse, but the badge that is supposed to be on the front is a triangle (like a talon)...and also the interior looks more similar to a talon. i havent gotten a hold of the vin number yet, so i just need some advice as to what to expect. so heres all the pix i was able to aquire. help me out. my brother josh (blackbirdws6zzz) is trying to figure this out at well. good luck.

maybe if someone can look at the engine bay and tell if thats the stock engine or a swap.
i dont know what im talking about im just getting into the tech part of cars. trying to knowledgeable here!

Front grille looks like Eagle Talon :D
Sister car to the Eclipse I believe. Maybe they just swapped out the front 'grille' piece?

i just have this idea in my head that the eclipse will do me better than a talon

engine wise. need a long lasting motor for a daily driver
 
ugh thats now what i want to hear. theres 97K on the body, 10K on the Motor. he said he doesnt know why there was a rebuild, because it was the previous previous owner.

i dont know. he keeps stalling to give me the vin number im just gonna let it go
