2017 Equinox

I have a 2017 Equinox, when I went to add oil to it there was a light tan ring aound the bottom of the oil cap. The same color oil also poured out of the hose that connects to the side of the plastic engine cover.
The spark plugs look good for 130,000 miles, dry, not burning oil.
Is this a faulty PCV valve causing this?
If so, what engineer at GM thought it was good to have to remove the intake to replace the PCV valve?

Thats moisture/condensation in the crankcase.

Do you take a lot of short trips?

I have a coworker that had a Cruze with PCV issues. Something about a ripped diaphragm and it not being serviceable if I remember correctly. I wonder if it is the same/ same style system.

Ya pcv is built into the cam cover. I had to replace 4 on my Cruze.

There's a guy making a problem solver kit for the Cruze. Not sure if it's the same for the Equinox but it'd be worth looking into. The "kit" basically just replaces the stock hoses and uses an inline check valve.

Ya pcv is built into the cam cover. I had to replace 4 on my Cruze.

Just did my nephews 1.4 cruize. The intake manifold causes the issue. The valve breaks in the intake .
