. I'd trash it.
how can a ticket regarding moving violations like this be issued without physically being served by the law enforcer?
Take a picture of $120 and mail it to them lol
US mail, that's how. Look at the ticket I uploaded. It says it was observed my a PO. No, they cannot determine whom the driver was, and apparently, they don't care. There is pending litigation on the legality of these systems, and many municipalities have removed them after these legal battles and complaints from their constituents.how can a ticket regarding moving violations like this be issued without physically being served by the law enforcer?
Went on Toledo PDs website, got a "Redflex help line". Apparently, my employer did not send all the ticket info (clever). The helpful lady informed that this is a civil citation, not a civil infraction, so pay the fine, no points.

However, there is absolutely zero ZERO (NADA, NINGUNO) ZIP, ZILCH info on where to mail payment, mail the plea, or contact info for the court. There is simply a web link to pay the ticket online through photonotice.com.
A look on Toledo PDs website shows a map of all the red light cameras, speed cameras and combined redlight/ speed cameras. However, there is none located in the location the ticket indicates.
Oh, and the payment is actually processed through Paypal.... They have an elaborate photo camera system, but have no internal payment processing system? I started to wonder if this was a scam.
I paid for a ticket in Georgia (88 in a 70 - State Cop) and then a few weeks later they sent me another ticket that basically said, "because you paid the other ticket, you're admitting to being a super speeder and here's another $250 ticket." I said fuck that which means they suspend your ability to operate a vehicle in Georgia. I'm like "well I'll never drive there again" and then a few weeks later Pat and I were driving through Georgia to Florida to pickup a truck and trailer. In Georgia it's strictly a revenue stream. You can't go to court for them and have no way to counter it. It's collected by a third party service and the revenue is paid to the state then.
That's an awesome F you. I'm paying the fine out of my side business account, no name, just the company name.I paid for a ticket in Georgia (88 in a 70 - State Cop) and then a few weeks later they sent me another ticket that basically said, "because you paid the other ticket, you're admitting to being a super speeder and here's another $250 ticket."
