10's on motor for a street car is very impressive, 9's is extremley impressive, I have no idea what world you living in but your not living in this one.
A 12 second motor is common, hell my neighbor is running 11's in a 3600lbs capri with a 306 N/A probably gonna see 10's this year when he hoses it. And all you can do is get that little s10 POS in the 12's???? BTW he did all his own work.

we should talk smack on dan millen cause somebody built his chassis for him and im sure he dont do all the wrenching on the car, he also uses race gas.... so just cause he goes 6s on 10.5 tires its not impressive at all...fucking junk ass car, i would be embarrased to own it, now my s-10 that runs 12s is so bad, cause i pulled the motor out of the car at the junkyard myself and put in my truck...90_Notch said:

There are alot of tricks to do I never even knew to make my car faster, that were CHEAPER than making it slower. And they had nothng to do with any type of power adder.

there is nothing wrong with asking for help on your ride, like raj said if somebody else can do it better and you can afford it why not... i like doing stuff myself i take pride in it, but i for sure aint going to put somebody else down for having somebody help them do there stuff... im all for helping others out too, if i can help in any way i do what i can do... that is what is cool about the car scene most of the people will help others in need, that is kinda the point of this site is to ask questions or give advice if you have been through that problem before...90_Notch said:

Lets see here, just for the record. I bought my car as a junker, tore it down completly in the garage by myself, put all new suspension on the car by myself, built the c4 trans that was in it by myself, built every engine combination that has been in the car from the 302 with nitrous, to the 302 blower, to the 408, to the current 357,, all by myself. I did all of the bodywork by myself. Only reason it has paint is becasue by some miracle the body came out straight and my buddy refused to just primer it. I redid all the interior by myself... hemi, you see a trend here???

I worked for every fucking penny that went into the car and I built the fucker top to bottom myself. I have forgotten more than you know about this game.
