I can't remember what Vince's little 383 LT1 (with out of the box AFR LT1 heads) went but I think it was like 9.8 at 138 on the motor in nitrous trim with a th400 at 3300 lbs like 5 years ago.
Ended up going 9.0's at almost 160 traction-limited.

I've been working almost every weekend on the 388monte-killer (LT1Pat's ride) and bad94z v2.1 is coming along nicely.
My point in that post was that you don't have a chance vs Vince not even with his old junk LT1. Maybe you can catch LT1PAT at the track one day on 10 lbs of boost and give him a run. 20 lbs well you know what that feels like already from Friday night where the Ohio Boys put 10 buslengths on you.
I know of some 400inch+ motors that don't run those #'s
and 9.0 @160 in a N20 car? If those #'s are true that's simply amazing, 60ft must of been in the toilet..

I didn't make posts saying how great I was and how it was going to fly first time out. He wanted to race Pat on Friday before he even had fired his motor. When you're cocky and you don't back it up, people will call you out on it. With a glide not 3-speed I bet.Never can tell how fast a nitrous car is by how it runs on motor. Didn't Wheeler's old car go like 11.0 @ 130 on motor and like mid 8's on spray?

Listen to the excuses. If its a nitrious car why run on the motor? Last nitrious motor I bought I asked the engine builder the same question. his reply....."spray it to death immediately and see what its got. The cam is so big it might detonate straight motor so just give'r" I went 9.17 @ 157 lifting at the 1000 ft mark. Why straight motor?...just making you look bad!
