Saving my pennies.

Stupid college always getting in the way of my right to bear arms.

DUMBY!, you may not be aware of your special status as "friend-of-postban"

You can get the extended payment plan on a flattop upper for the 20A2 and a LTWT M4 in the classifieds. Just say the word. I already got the nut I need to buy the boat, no rush to move the M4.

I've already been eyeing that SNS Industries lower, RRA Upper that you have for sale. Pretty neat little toy there.

No need for the payment plan, I have cash on hand, just a matter of controlling my spending. I spent upwards of 3 grand this past year just in range time and ammo.

Wheres this M4 you speak of now?

The LTWT, only diff to M4 is more weight, different bbl profile.

[gong] Lighter is better as long as accuracy is not effected[/gong]

plus, it has A GODDAMNED KICKASS SKULL ON IT

Ok postban. I'll ask here, instead of thread whoring.

Still havent picked up any optics for the AR you sold me, but I would like to pick up a tac light, and a battle grip this weekend.

So the question is, what type of handgaurd would be best suited for both? I was thinking one with a rail, so I could fit the battle grip towards the rear of the barrel, and hang the light off the front.

Pretty much like what you have going on here:

Where can I buy said handgaurd and parts in the area? I looked at handgaurds and battle grips at the firing line yesterday, but I am unsure to what I need. After all, I am a AR :newbie:

O ya, I still need a trigger for the armalite as well. I dont feel like waiting for one in the mail.

Why do i want an AR now? I would probably allready own one if it was easier for me to shoot.

I live in Roseville now so if i want to go to an outdoor range where the heck could i go? The pit in lapeer? Thats lame, its like an hour drive.

BTW Sweet Rifles Postban and everyone!

Mine is a Daniels Defense 10.0 lightweight, saves weight but pricey@$350. Samson, Troy, LaRue and Midwest Industries all make high quality freefloat forends but are a few ozs heavier. Yours has the pencil bbl so it will be about the same as mine if you pick the heavier rails. Surefire makes a nice non-float rail, just snaps in place. Actually that may be best, you are not going for bugsize groups.
Avoid YHM and UTG rails, they have fit issues with some foregrips and light clamps.

That grip is a Tango Down, allows storage inside for batteries or spare bolt/firing pin/extractor. @$55

The pistol grip is a Magpul MIAD, allows storage, several configurations, easy install. $35

The trigger guard is a Magpul too, milled aluminum, extra room for gloved finger.@$20

Back up iron Sights are Troy @$250 a set

Light is a pentagonlight M3 light/laser @$350. Surefire makes topnotch stuff too. Figure $150 at least for a good one, the kind you buy once.

The trigger in it is a 2-stage match from Rock River Arms, it will fit in the Armalite or the SNS. About $80

Nobody local to get the good stuff from, I deal with vendors on arfcom. Several in fact.

Dozens of ways to accomplish it, too many to type more. Gotta get back to my jack-n-coke:secret:

For all your ak needs hook up with my buddy Scott at DPHARMS.com (we work together at General Electric. The guy who owns Black Rifle works was supposed to be on my team but he is on medical.
