Nope, not even close. This thing (bottom one)had a 20+ lb pull and no fix.

I like the short ones too;

You can usually put one together for about 600-650.
A lower receiver is usually about $150 at a gun show. Kits in whichever configuration you like are $525 and up.

Factory guns usually cost a bit more. a new one with accessories and warranty is a good deal at $800 depending on options and caliber.

I just picked up 200 rds of .223 UMC at Gander Mountain for $93 out the door. Still pretty damn pricey. Anywhere online that you can buy it cheaper?

And yes it is a SA scope 30mm tube range finder but its on a Ruger M77 poilce model .308 The sad thing is I bought that rifle around 5 years ago and never fired one round yet with it. Still needs to be sighted in.

keep an eye on the equiptment exchange on www.ar15.com , I bought 500 rds. of AE .223 for $125, saw some on there yesterday for $130 + shipping

Correct me if I'm wrong fellas, but you can use .223 in a 5.56 rifle, but you cant use 5.56 in a .223? Thats what the guy at GanderMt told me today.
