how this was sold on Ebay (with title). Perhaps it wasn't him?

I got a bit discouraged and gave up on finding it. A local racer who is a Flint area cop reached out to me and helped. But I cant even file a police report because the city of flint says that without a title, I cant prove i own it. Even my auction purchase info is not enough for them.
So now Im stuck, that is 100% my car. Im open to suggestions, gonna contact the Imlay city pd.

just curious here. but how did you not have a title for it?

I purchased it through the Voorhes estate auction. The vin tag was partially unreadable. Impulse purchase, started researching the other vin locations with conflicting info. Could not find the other alleged vin locations on the car. Stored it and was going to worry about the title process later. Dumb, but I was going through a lot of family issues and didn't have the time to dedicate to the car.
