Schwartz 1964 Chevelle Chassis Final Fix

Looking Good. Has that butthead Krazyboner been over to help at all yet? You should take him out of the will...

Pics are about the same, so nothing new there...I did get fluid run thru the brake lines. My good buddy Matt was going to help me one of these days, but I just can't wait any longer... ;)

Off to Germany on Monday...

Been a while....In the final stretch...
Brakes are all finished
Exhaust is in for the final time
Fuel tank is in and lines have been run
Battery has been mounted in the trunk and cables have been run to the front

No one ever responded to my "E" mails or posts about wiring, so I am doing it myself. Ohhh well, I guess I saved myself at least $500...
Wiring is about 75%. Just need to finish modifying the front harness and hang the wires in the trunk.

Pics........

Got the battery mounted into the trunk

Well, I see PhotoFuket has screwed everyone now, unless you pay....

Anyway, worked a little more on the wiring and have the plumbing all worked out for my Hydroboost. I also welded on a couple of -6 fittings to the powersteering reservoir. I took it all apart, blasted, painted and replaced all of the "O" rings while I was at it...

I used AN fittings on some auto projects. They are the way to go.

What are you using for hose? The Russell lines are difficult to seal properly with PTFE inner lining.

I've used these a lot. I do have the PFTE lines on the hydroboost, itbut I've also used those quite a bit and know the trick to assemble them..

Awesome looking car! Just read through your thread. Wow! Good luck with the rest of the project. It would look good next to my 67 SS!

John, mayb we should drive our 67s to Gary's house to visit and check this out.

Maybe he will let me borrow his trans Jack for the 10th time so we can do your converter! I also need to pick up the gear oil...

Dang I am a shitty son, right Gary?
