I don't know if I would go so far as to say the defense played like shit. The first goal yes, Lebda pinched when he shouldn't have, didn't have the support to do it. The second goal was ALL Samualsens fault instead of swinging his stick at the guy he should have played the body. The best defensman in the last thirty years, maybe ever, was covering the man in front of the net. :thumbsup:

Amen brotha!

Ozzie is the only reason this game wasn't a slaughter. He was possibly playing as well last night as he's ever played. He was way out, challenging shooters, controlling rebounds, and making HUGE stops.
 
Osgood was the only one playing like he wanted to win the cup last night, period.

Everybody else seemed to think it was a practice session and they were supposed to dilly-dally around with fancy puck control techniques that didn't work worth a shit. Seems like we watched an intentionally throttled game. Theyre just gonna make crosby hurt worse in 7.
 
I'm not usually one to complain about officiating, but the refs need to make the calls when the Pens sticks pull the Wings to the ice. Grant it that is not why the Wings lost, but we had a few power plays that were just never called.

Wings need to step it up big in game 7 for sure.

I completely agree lidstrom is possibly the best defensemen to EVER play the game. But kennedy was his man in that situation. We had both defensemen in the corner and kennedy was left alone. Hey shit happens, we are lucky it was 4-1. Game 7 here we come, I still like the wings to win it at the Joe.
 
Cleary....what happened??? I stood up, and thought for sure he'd put one in there. Now we gotta wait 3 days, including today. I can't wait for game 7.

cleary should have just shot the puck instead of trying to go to the back hand

and ozzy was kicking ass even the defence was good for once but were the hell was all the offence. 1=min left in the game and they're standing around with the puck instead of moving it

i thought it would be nice for them to win the cup in the D anyways and seeing its going to be friday night its party time :cheers:

we'll definitly be checking out Gratiot after they win. My parents live right over that way so its just a shot down the road to gratiot.

I have not read anything in the paper or online. Writers are really stupid about stuff and I'm tired of reading quotes from Cindy.
