Red wings

I hope we win game 7 but if we dont Im still happy with what the Wings did this year, We cant expect them to win it every year, We had a good year and we should be happy win or lose..
 
I dont know what to say about tonights game. The refs were blowing the whole pens team and looking the other way when it was time to call a penatly against the Pens. We had some good chances but couldn't capitalize on them. Osgood was good as usual.
 
It will be a nice clean win at detroit, plus it will be at HOME!....i dont see them beating us at the Joe. Not one game in this match up has been won away for either team.

Did you watch the same game ? Did you see all the rebounds he coughed up ? Had the penguins capitalized on half of those we would have been crushed. Initial saves are great, however "if" he didn't have a great defense we would not have even made it this far into the playoffs.

I say give any decent goal a great defense and they will look good. If he was so great we would not have the worst penalty kill %.

refs sucked but that didn;t cause us not to win.. we played like shit the first 40 minutes of that game period. we played good towards the end, but like i said before we need to make the refs a non issue. It's obvious the manboylove they show to that team, and don't expect it to get any better in game 7. fag bettman got his wish, we'll see what happens. i am hoping to score some tickets and go to the game. if i do, i'm shaving my head, painting my entire face and head red and white, getting hammered and watching the wings bring home another championship.. and if not i'll beat up a pittsburgh fan and piss on their face....


no not really but i'll get obnoxiously drunk and scare the shit out of some pittsburgh homo's.. maybe gay05st will be there. on that note i am downing my drink and going to bed... fuck :mad:

yeah i was gonna say the same thing. a few interference penalties that should of been called.
But I don't think that changed the outcome of the game. We played like shit through the first 35 minutes or so. We also could have capitalized on the power plays at the end there and the break away and the empty net.

It would have been awesome to have hossa raise the cup in front of those phucksticks, but it'll be even better when he does it here in Detroit :thumbsup::rockon::woot:

did you watch the fucking game?? how many great oppurtunities did pittsburgh have and osgood stopped all but 2. had, if, blah blah blah he made the fucking saves, unless you're blind and can;t see shit... our defense played like shit and osgood bailed them out and gave us a chance to tie it up. and "if" his defense played so great he wouldn;t have to make all those great saves, they had fucking 24 shots on net by the end of the 2nd period. he turned away 29 of 31 shots, he can't do it all. even great goalies let in goals, it's just how it is..how about the 2nd goal, his "defense" made a bad play. both the defenders went to the puck, nobody took the man by the net and he was able to take to shots without a defender there to stop him.. way to go defense.. putting the blame on osgood for this game is insane, he;s the only reason it was this close, this could've been a replay of game 5 but with us on the 5-0 losing end, thats how bad the rest of the team played
 
When you play bad for 2 periods you usually lose. They were outplayed tonight plain and simple. I agree with N8, Osgood is the only reason they were even in the game.
